.TROUBLE.

Dear classmates,

The color team is having trouble with the film panel.

We feel that there needs to be more details in the camera and also the background. There needs to be more definition or else it will look boring on a scale this large. Also, we feel that the simplicity of the panel makes it look incohesive compared to the other panels. The figures are more animated than realistic as the other panels are. We too feel that the whole composition should be shifted to the left because there is too much empty space and not enough focus on the figure/camera.

Should we draw a NEW one, or continue to revise this one?

I agree. Nicole was working on redrawing some of the lines but as the "Drafter", she was really only asked to put the figures into the border.

Is anyone willing to work on the Film panel? Ed gave us some good ideas and with the new projector image, maybe we could employ the styles developed by Jake, Sarah and/or Allegra for the main Film image. I will email this suggestion to the group shortly!

Keep working hard everyone! This is a really important week!

DEFINITELY draw a new one. There's no need to keep screwing with a drawing that had trouble getting out of the gate -- a new one with a full gallop will be stronger, fuller, and more in keeping with the rest of them.

I am going to try to rush and redraw this thing tonight. I agree i didnt realize i was supposed to redraw the whole thing. Whoever else wants to attempt it can as well. Take it or leave it I'll push my other stuff aside to do this. Also as Elissa requested I'll see what else can be added to the borders. again nothing is final, just shooting out some more options to give us something to choose from.
